We pride ourselves on the quality and welfare of our stock.
With the 2009 kidding season now behind us, we are delighted that we have achieved such good results. The kidding rate was incredible and included 2 sets of quins, of which only one kid died. As an additional bonus, we had a large ratio of females born.
Our 2010 mating groups are now in place and, upon expert advice, sires were carefully selected to "marry up" with certain does so as to draw the best qualities from both animals and their forebears.
We have retained a select group of our
2008 born does who will become the core of
our breeders for the 2010 season. Our
2008 born bucks were a particularly
handsome drop and it is these sires we
are using in the mating groups.
